Monster Mash and FHE

It was my turn for FHE tonight, so I thought I would make it spooktacular for Halloween week. I love Halloween, and it is one of my favorite holiday's because there is so much fun surrounding it.
We started off with a simple monster mash dinner. I was going to make shepherd's pie for dinner anyways, so I just added a little green color to the potatoes to make them the bright green. Although slightly unappetizing to eat because of the color it still tasted quite good. Of course the color of green potatoes might deter some folks we had fun with it. Philip wasn't sure about taking the left overs to work though. I think he might be a little embarrassed to show his co-workers that he is eating bright green mashed potatoes.
For family home evening I found a really simple and cute lesson here called the three naughty ghosts. Then I went here to print out boo bingo which was easy and fun. That website is great because you can customize any type of bingo theme you want. After you print your first bingo card you can just click on the bingo card button and it will randomly produce a different bingo card. It took me about 5 minutes to get it all set up and get 5 different cards.

For the treat we had no bake cookies which Summer decided to call mud pies. It was sure was fun, and I look forward to the fun festivities of Halloween this week.

Love the monster mash dinner and the no bake cookies! I think I'll make some tomorrow. And that ghost FHE lesson takes me back to when I was really little--it was one of my favorites!
